Being in a university that prides itself on championing peace, I always thought that everyone would naturally feel included. But I quickly learned that it doesnโ€™t always work that wayโ€” inclusion doesnโ€™t just happen; it has to be nurtured. Even within our campus, discrimination and stigma against LGBTIQ students were realโ€”sometimes subtle, sometimes obviousโ€”but always powerful enough to make you question if you truly belonged. It was frustrating, yet it sparked something inside me, a fire I didnโ€™t know I had.

That spark came alive when I saw support all around me: faculties, staff, friends, fellow students, and even the university itself starting to create spaces for LGBTIQ students. In those moments, I realized inclusion isnโ€™t just about being seen, itโ€™s about being empowered. Feeling recognized and supported lit a fire in me to do more, to be more, and to help others feel that same spark."

#InclusiveEducationForAll matters to me because it ensures that every student, regardless of identity, has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive without fear or stigma. It creates a space where differences are respected, voices are heard, and potential is not limited by who we are.
